Entering a compartment in an unusual or unaccustomed body attitude can cause the surroundings to look strange or unfamiliar.

As soon as the crewmember maneuvers to the customarily attitude, the entire scene looks familiar once again.

To prevent this confusion all control and display panels should be oriented to the established reference frame for each work area.
