Normally, the crew took sponge baths following exercise; however, Skylab featured a zero gravity shower.

The shower nozzle and vacuum attachment were used in sequence to apply and remove water.

When latched, the circular shower curtain provided a total enclosure to prevent water spill.

Personal hygiene practices, such as washing hands and face, brushing teeth, and grooming hair, differ only slightly from normal 1-G technique; however, loose hair, fingernail clippings, dead skin flakes, and loose food scraps could drift freely.
